he likes to sleep during the day. on the dining table.

i miss you the most today.

Neo’s all time favorite sleeping position.

light bulb.
Neo didn’t greet me this morning. he just sat rigidly on the sofa watching every move i make. i thought he got sick or something. turns out he got an upset tummy. he didn’t touch his food and his stools seemed watery. i didn’t know what to do, so, i cleaned his litter box, stroked his head to comfort him and told my parents about his condition. we took him to the vet that afternoon.
anyway, my friends and i caught Karate Kid. it’s a good show. at some point of time, the plot was slow and you’re just there begging for more actions. but it was worth it when the kung fu competition came. and i think all the young actors are good. the only thing that disturbs me is that karate kid learns kung fu. the irony is too glaring to be ignored.
and i thought it’s just me, you know, i thought maybe kung fu and karate supposed to be one and the same. and the use is supposed to be interchangeable. but apparently, yes, my suspicion is right. kung fu and karate are different.
after we had our late lunch at a Thai restaurant, i wandered around MPH bookstore. i thought about getting a book as a gift for my friend’s upcoming birthday. i spent about 1 1/2 hours looking for the perfect book. i thought about getting a personal-interest-related book. meh, i don’t know. i still can’t decide. i can spend hours and hours trying to search my brain for ideas of what presents to get. in fact, i spend a lot more time thinking about it than actually buying gifts.
anyway, Germany won 4-1 to England. i feel so delightful right now. i have to say Germany has deadly attacks but then again, England’s defending was…no comment.

Neo’s getting neutered tomorrow. i’m still not sure if it’s the right thing to do, but i heard that neutered cats have an increased chance to live longer, healthier lives. and they would usually lose the desire to roam. i guess it’s good for him for many reasons.

neo.
it’s official. my family and i are going for a vacation trip to Hawaii on the 11th of May. wee!
which means i have to get some important stuff done before the trip. i got the feeling that i’m gonna be super extra busy after the trip since i’m going abroad in less then 2 months. i decided to finish up my online portfolio. it’s not easy to do a good one. finding the right set of pictures is very hard. having diversity without loosing continuity, defining a style for the page. i have so many pictures of my work, but they are all over the place stylistically.
i find it hard.
anyway, i’ve been spending a lot of quality times with Neo these days. cleaning his litter box, feeding, bathing and playing. just some down to earth parenthood. he’s well-behave too these days. he understand a few commands like ‘no’, ‘down’ and ‘food-food’. the only time he would turn into a little devil is when he gets too excited. always a scary thing because he would chase you around the house and try to bite you. and sometimes when you say ‘no’ to his serious-bad-moral-doing, he would refuse to obey and eager to do it again - purposely. and when you scold him, he would play innocent (as seen in above picture) and make a cute purring sound.
he’s just plain adorable.

om.
it would be safe to say that Neo has grown so much from when he was adopted and first brought home. it’s nice to see him flourishing so awesomely like that. i was about to say, ‘flourish so healthily’, but that would be just wrong. i love fat cats, no doubt. they’re so round and i would like to see my cat like that, like a living furball.
anyway, Ferhan and i went to 1Utama for some shopping today. he was such great follower. he followed me blindly. and i’ve always known that i was an awesome leader. we took the train from Subang Jaya to reach there.
although i have a problem with public transport (this problem existed ever since secondary school and the problem has cease to exist until today), i somehow managed to confidently strode to the opposite side and boarded the train. i was happily in the train and i was animatedly talking to Ferhan and could even remarked, “eh the train is kinda full today!”
Ferhan was acting all macho for not holding to the pole, bumping into me. so, i shouted at him. as if that is not enough, when i was on the way out of the train, i nearly walked into a pole. my face was like an inch away from smacking into the pole.
moving on, i took the lift and when it reaches the third floor, a lot of people went out, so i followed the crowd only to realized that Ferhan (who probably learnt his lesson) wasn’t following me. when i realized this, i rushed back into the lift while a few people stared at me. how rude.
i also just learnt that the word ‘U.P’ in price tag means ‘usual price’. all these while i thought it stands to mean, ‘up to RM10.90’.
all in all, i feel quite awesome despite the many flaws to my thought process today simply because today is Sunday.
