had the wiring people came over this morning to get some hacking job done. i added a few plug-in socket just below the window, where i want my study desk to be. as for the wall color, i honestly can’t decide which color to choose. i want something that goes well with lavender curtain. i’m thinking of painting the wall with some sort of cream-ish or off-white tone but then i really want to make my room cozier so maybe a taupe feature wall will do…? meh-i don’t know. all this while, people kept telling me that i have a good sense of color but now i really doubt it.
quick update:
1. exam is now over. the papers was kinda easy for me *flips hair, blows nails*.
2. next week is my final design review week. there’s still some re-touch up to do, and i need to finalise my presentation board. yes. more hours of ass-sitting-related-activity.
3. so far, it has been a near-sleepless but fun week for me.
4. most of my conversations when i meet up with my friends begin with “i need coffee” and end in whatever cramped little cafe i’ve chosen to drag us to.
5. Mimi is in Melbs. i’m heading there right after the review week for a weekend trip, before flying back home.
6. i’m currently in my last hour of procrastination before heading up to studio.

when i’m doing layout palnning, i’d always imagine things in my head.
imagining how the space is going look like in real life, the user circulations, what will the user do in the space, etc.
i had a pretty hard time laying out this ‘masturbatorium’. i kept on having flash images of patient masturbating in my head. and i had to frequently snap myself back to reality by yelling, “elena, concentrate!” in my head.
i wonder how it would be like to be in this ‘masturbatorium’ (as a user)? you masturbate, and then you go to the front counter to hand out your ‘stuff’ and you’re like “here’s the sample”.

feels like this week has gone by really fast. and it’s nearly April. this is crazy!
this morning, i downloaded a whole bunch of new songs and i can officially have a playlist for April now. in the evening, i drove to Karen’s house and practiced 3Ds Max for 4 hours. i just realised that i’ll be spending most of my life with CAAD. which means, my life is half dependent on CAAD. this fact makes me feel scared for some reason.
i’m not quite sure what i’m doing with my life. but i’m living it day per day as i should. yes, i have my aims and goals from time to time. and there are also tasks that must be done. but sometimes, i just have to remind myself to breathe. that’s all. i guess i’m just really thankful with my life at the moment. i’m more than content with what i have.
by the way, i’m getting myself a kitten tomorrow^^

woke up to a cold rainy morning. and it’s still raining outside. feels peaceful. today, i’m going to spend the rest of the day in my room, doing some final touch-up on my presentation boards…after that, i’m heading to the studio to pin them up. it’s official, design reviews are on the 18th and 19th. but right now, i need some FOOD and COFFEE!
