vanity plates like these cost $250 here, it’s quite cheap compared to back home. still, not exactly the best choice for a plate number, Mr White Car. the double “T”s doesn’t help either.

things i’ve been up to.

what a shame.

today, i walked out of my room half naked not knowing my housemate’s two male friends were in the house. both of them saw me.

i also lost a 50 dollar note while i was in a restaurant for lunch.

i feel overwhelmed.

i got lost in some beautiful ranch in Gombak after a lengthy car journey. the journey meant i got to see the beautiful scenery, something i would never have even thought about otherwise.

morning picnic.

just had a morning picnic with Donut. i bought 3 nasi lemak, 1 peanut butter and chocolate waffle and some drinks. then we headed to the park to enjoy our meal since the weather was fine. there was a group of boys playing football, so i asked her what she’s taking for her extra-curricular activity next year and she was like “haven’t decided, yet. not a sport for sure”. hmm…not the kind of answer i was looking for. when i asked her why, she said that she’s into ‘mental’ education, not ‘physical’ education. besides, she doesn’t want to get sunburn. lol. when i was in my school days, i joined everything from athletics, marathon, long jump, high jump, handball, netball, volleyball, tennis, badminton…well basically anything related to heart-pumping, sweat-drenching kind of activity. it’s sad that she’s not following my footsteps.

and we also talked about technology and how it has affected kids these days. i told her that when i was around her age (well, actually younger), there was no such thing as ‘surfing the internet’. no Youtube, Facebook or Twitter. i don’t even have an email address. that fact shocked her. she actually gave me this ‘give-my-brain-a-few-moment-to-process-that-information’ kinda stare. her reaction shocked me too. totally unexpected. a little bit upsetting.

reunion.

dad just got home yesterday. we picked him up from the airport around 6/7pm and had some dinner. got home at about 11pm and spent the rest of the night unloading stuff and talking. we even talked about my childhood days in Japan and how i was an easy child to travel with. he kept on saying that i was really adventurous as a kid and i never throw a tantrum. lol. he bought a lot of omiyage for us. went to bed with Donut around 3am. it was a lot of fun sleeping with her. we didn’t straight away went to sleep, instead we talked for a little bit and played some games in the dark.

and now, it’s 11am and everyone in the house is still sleeping.

hi-bye.

spending some quality time with Mimi.

i will be boarding on a flight to my lovely hometown this Monday.

i can’t wait to hug my little sister and mom (too bad dad’s in Japan for a week). i haven’t done it for months and i am itching to do so. and i’m super excited to see Neo!

coffee snob.

quick update:

1. currently in the beautiful city of Melbourne.

2. weather is temperate.

3. have this urge to try every cafe out there in the city.

4. heading to North Melbourne tomorrow to see Mimi.

route.

quick update:

1. exam is now over. the papers was kinda easy for me *flips hair, blows nails*.

2. next week is my final design review week. there’s still some re-touch up to do, and i need to finalise my presentation board. yes. more hours of ass-sitting-related-activity.

3. so far, it has been a near-sleepless but fun week for me.

4. most of my conversations when i meet up with my friends begin with “i need coffee” and end in whatever cramped little cafe i’ve chosen to drag us to.

5. Mimi is in Melbs. i’m heading there right after the review week for a weekend trip, before flying back home.

6. i’m currently in my last hour of procrastination before heading up to studio.

the end.

i swear this is how my dream ended just before i woke up this morning. and i don’t even remember what i dreamt last night. must be a happy one.

anyway, i’m dining out tonight. yea, the talk about eating and cooking a healthy homecook meal etc. etc…, it ain’t gonna happen because i have to save that extra energy for model making tonight. yosh!

what i had for lunch today - healthy.
the weather has been cold all day. i’m writing this in my bed, wrapped up in my comforter with my laptop on my lap. hopefully, the heat from my laptop doesn’t hurt my reproductive system. what the—!?
deadlines and exams are on their way, and that means days and days of work and stress. but even though it seems like i’m always busy with my life and studies, i still try my best to cook a healthy meal at home for myself (and my lovely housemates too, sometimes). speaking of housemate, Rachael loves to play lesbian jokes on me. dammit, of all of the people in this planet, why must it be me? this is just unacceptable!
move along…
mid-morning, i received a call that started the brightening of my day. Donut, my smart ass little sister got straight A’s for her final exam. that’s 13 A’s in total, yo! i know-i know, it may sound like i’m bragging or something but hey, this is my proud moment :)

2. slept from 2am last night til 3.30pm this evening and 8pm til 11pm. that’s a new record!

3. …which also means i skipped my dinner.

4. …which leads to me having late night supper.

5. my 500GB external hard drive crashed on me.

6. model making is fun! *stabs chest with cutting blade*

Paolo Nutini - New Shoes

oh, and i accidentally walked into the men’s restroom too :D i saw 3 dudes using the urinal, and i actually made eye contact with one of them just before i turned around and rushed out. that was so messed up.
